Rob Ellinger is the founder of Chameleon Hypnosis, and has had an interest in hypnosis for over a decade. He holds a Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy from the Australian Hypnotherapy College, a Diploma in Hypnotherapy from the Jacquin Hypnosis Academy, and Advanced Training in Clinical Hypnosis from the South Australian Society of Hypnosis.
Rob’s journey into the world of hypnosis and hypnotherapy began with a chance discussion with a palliative care doctor that put him on the path of serious study; and since entering the world of therapeutic hypnosis he hasn’t looked back.
Further to his training he is also an active member of the Australian Hypnotherapists Association (AHA) and is committed to further education and development in this fascinating field.
In addition to his work as a clinical hypnotherapist, Rob also brings over 11 years of experience as a clinical nurse working in childhood cancer (AHPRA Registration number: NMW0001855353). This work gives him a unique perspective and understanding of the physical and emotional complexities people face, especially when dealing with stress or trauma.
